Policies

TUITION

All fees are non-refundable. A $25.00 Registration Fee, along with the first month's tuition, is due upon registration to hold your dancer's spot in class. Those dancers wishing to join classes after the year starts will receive a pro-rated tuition. Subsequent tuition payments will be charged on the 1st of the month. Tuition is non-refundable / nonexchangeable. Credit/debit card information must be saved on our secure server to ensure timely payments. Card information must be updated upon expiration of card. Should an applicable card not be available on the account, a $20 fee will be posted. Should tuition not be received by the 10th of the month, a $20 late fee will be applied to the account. Should payment not be received by the 20th of the month, all dancers on the account will not be allowed to participate in class until the balance on the account is paid in full. A $30 fee will be applied to accounts for returned checks.

CLASS WITHDRAWAL

If a dancer would like to withdraw from his/her class, written notice must be submitted to the office. Tuition will not be charged as of the first of the next month. No refunds will be provided for any fees, including but not limited to tuition fees, registration fees, private/solo lesson card fees, costume fees, logowear/specialty order fees,  and/or ticket fees.

MAKEUP CLASSES

Should a dancer be absent from his/her class, a makeup class can be attended within one month of the class that was missed. Please contact the Artistry Dance Project office to arrange a makeup class.

STUDIO CLOSINGS

In the case of inclement weather, for the safety of our parents, students, and teachers, Artistry Dance Project holds the right to close the studio as deemed necessary. Artistry Dance Project will not always follow the local school closings. Please check our website, Facebook page, or call the studio to check the answering machine, should the potential situation arise. Should studio closings fall on a particular day of the week more than 3 times, a makeup class will be provided. Otherwise, 3 times or less, said classes will be forfeited.

CONCERT COSTUME FEES

Costume invoices must be paid in full by December 1st. Students who register after December 1st are expected to pay the costume fee related to the class they are registering for at the time of registration and will be subject to an additional $20 shipping fee. Due to the length of time these costumes take to be delivered, students registering after February 1st are not guaranteed a concert costume. The Directors hold the discretion to adjust the February 1st deadline when costumes will no longer be able to be added to an order due to time constrictions.

CONCERT TICKETS

Concert tickets will go on sale approximately one month prior to the end of the year concert. Tickets will be sold through a third party website and no refunds will be given. Accounts with open balances will not be permitted to purchase concert tickets until the balance has been settled.
